ELIZABETH
Project Manager, Editor
"My name is Elizabeth Petersen and I am a student at Purdue University. I love the project idea that we chose because I used to be that High School student terrified of college. I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t know what job I would have. Now I have a job I love at the YMCA and love the school that I attend. I am a gymnastics coach at the Y and I’m currently studying Fitness Management."

Note Taker, Editor
"I am a Freshman at Purdue University Northwest majoring in Nursing. Personally, this project piqued my interest because it involved helping others like me, a student. Recently, I have felt disconnected and alone while transitioning into the college environment. It was difficult to wrap my head around being an adult and learning to do things on my own. This project has opened my eyes to the realization that I and many others can help those struggling to get into the college mindset, without making them feel alone or burdened. My group and I are lending a helping hand to those who need it most."

ALYSSA
Website Manager, Editor
"I am a sophomore at Purdue University Northwest. I am majoring in Visual Communications. This project is very interesting to me because when I was shifting into the college life I found it very stressful and confusing. I felt rushed to be someone I was not yet sure was me. When I entered my freshman year of college I was lost and I felt alone. This project has given me the opportunity to help others."

JUSTICE
Social Media Coordinator, Editor
"I am a freshman at Purdue Northwest University majoring in Communications. For me, this project is an opportunity to help high school students readjust to social life post covid while also helping them transition smoothly into life as a college student. In the past, I've shown interest in mental health and this project gave me a chance to use that to help my community"
